Governing Council

The Governing Council is an important component of the school’s decision-making and consultative processes and it provides an opportunity for parents to be more strongly involved in school operations and to gain a deeper understanding of how the school functions.  The Balaklava High School Governing Council is made up of parent, student and staff representatives as well as the Principal.  The parent representatives provide a valued link from the broader school community to strengthen and support the functioning and performance of the school.
